Council Approval & Regulations - Mobile Cabins & Tiny Homes on Wheels

Local council laws and regulations change from council to council so it is always important to stay informed and update to date regarding your local area.
There is not one regulation occupying mobile cabins / tiny houses on wheels (caravans) in Australia. There are various rules for living in your caravans between different states and local councils.
At CabinTech we manufacture our own custom build hot dip galvanized trailers to fit our custom size range. Particularly the design suited to our expandable range of mobile cabins.
Our mobile cabins & tiny houses on wheels are not currently required to be built to the BCA, as they do not fit the building classified in the BCA for being a permanent structure. If your local council isn't familiar with the mobile cabin or tiny home on wheels term, use caravan instead for more information.
Our CabinTech mobile cabins & tiny home on wheels can dramatically minimise any hassles that come with council approval.
